About the event

About the presentation: Colorwork methods of knitting are great for those who want to add either distinctly figural or graphic art pieces to their knitted wardrobe. While traditional methods make for beautiful pieces on their own, adding unusual textures or incorporating lesser known colorwork methods can add an additional layer of interest to both the finished work, as well as the process of knitting it. Join Kyla, local Portland knitter and designer, in a talk about different colorwork methods and how to incorporate unusual textures and shaping into your colorwork pieces.

Please RSVP to get the Zoom link to join us virtually.

About the speaker: Kyla Overby is a Portland-based knitter, designer, and knitting instructor. Her main focus is experimenting with all manner of colorwork knitting and incorporating references of PNW flora into her work.
