Rahab's Sisters

Rahab's Sisters envisions a resilience-building community where women, trans, and nonbinary individuals are valued, nourished, have a sense of belonging, and are safe from the impacts of gender-based marginalization. Their mission is to build community through radical hospitality with women and gender-diverse individuals marginalized by poverty, houselessness, sex work, violence, and substance use. We were honored to support them in this work in our small way.

Our guild will be making hats, cowls/scarves, and mittens/fingerless gloves. Please use machine washable yarn.Completed items and yarn can be dropped off at any guild meeting or by making other arrangements through email to outreach@puddletownknittersguild.com..

Current Challenge

Our first challenge ends on our February 12th meeting. We want to get warm knit items to the client's of Rahab's Sisters while the weather is still cold. Make hats, scarves, mittens, cowls out of machine washable yarn. Items are collected at any in person meeting. Please email outreach@puddownknittersguild.com to arrange a pick up or drop off if you cannot drop items off at a meeting.

Please continue to knit or crochet any other items as you like as long as they are machine washable.  As stated above, items can be turned in at our monthly meetings or by making other arrangements through email to outreach@puddletownknittersguild.com.
