2025 Partner

North by Northeast
North By Northeast Community Health Center, NxNE, is the only medical clinic in Oregon devoted to African American/Black health. Since seeing their first patient in 2006, the clinic has provided primary care services as well as health education and promotion through a variety of venues. Whether in the clinic, at a street-fair-like community gathering focused on home safety or through boxes of fresh organic produce, their message that Black Health Matters has been delivered loud and clear. We were honored to support them in this work in our small way.

Completed items and yarn can be dropped off at any guild meeting or by making other arrangements through email to outreach@puddletownknittersguild.com.
Stay tuned for further information about what is needed and what challenges we'll be running in 2025.

Current Challenge
The Guild's official service project for the summer is making dishcloths for clients of the North by Northeast Community Clinic. You can knit, crochet, or weave them. Dishcloths are a great opportunity to try a new technique.
Dishcloths will be due by the August meeting. Since we do not meet at the church in July and August, please email outreach@puddletownknittersguild.com to arrange a pick up or drop off.
Please continue to knit or crochet any other items as you like as long as they are machine washable. As stated above, items can be turned in at our monthly meetings or by making other arrangements through email to outreach@puddletownknittersguild.com.
