About the event

About the presentation: Warm weather knit and crochet projects can be enormously satisfying. Tanks and tees are typically worn for a much longer part of the year than sweaters, and warm weather patterns can often also double as base layers when cold weather does return, making them vital parts of your handmade wardrobe. However, knitting and crocheting with plant fibers, and other warm weather fibers, has its own learning curve. These garments often also demand more precise fit in order to be truly wearable. In this presentation, Elizabeth Margaret will cover the advantages and pitfalls of knitting warm weather garments. Learn how to choose the right yarn for your project, what to look out for, and how to resolve some common issues that arise when working with warm weather yarns.

Please RSVP to get the Zoom link to join us virtually.
