About the event

About the presentation:  Learn all about planned (or assigned) pooling: a technique where you use the repeating colors of a variegated yarn and match them with an exact stitch count and tension to create intentional patterns, instead of random stripes. Many of Ann’s yarns are designed for planned pooling, and she will share with us how she creates these works of art, and how any hand dyers out there can try the same!

Please RSVP to get the Zoom link to join us virtually.

About the speaker: Ann Woods runs her own hand-dyed yarn company, A Skeiner Darkly, focused on fine hand-dyed yarns with a sci-fi twist.
