About the presentation: Lorajean will use the currently-being-created Smutball colorway line as the example as she discusses the processes for creating new colorways. (Hint: there's lots of silliness and community input).

About the speaker: Knitted Wit is one of Portland's longest-run indie dye studios (this year, the business is 18 years old!), run by the queen of color herself, Lorajean Kelley. The business has changed a lot over the years, from humble beginnings in the backyard of her previous 900-square foot home to a sprawling studio that is also a community-centered craft shop with events and classes galore. Through it all, community and care have been at the center of Knitted Wit.
