Welcome to the Puddletown Knitters Guild

Stitching together in Portland, Oregon

Our guild is a community of passionate knitters in Portland, Oregon and beyond. We come together to share our love for knitting and learn from each other.

We organize monthly meetings for our members as well as special events throughout the year. Join us also for special events, charity knitting, and more.

We are proud to support local charities and organizations through our knitting projects. From hats for premature babies to blankets for homeless shelters, we use our knitting skills to give back to our community.

Whether you are an experienced knitter or just starting out, we welcome you to join our guild and be part of our community. Sign up now to attend our next meeting.

Upcoming Meetings

Our Mission:

Our mission is to promote a diverse community of knitters of all abilities, to support local fiber providers and artists from farm to needles, to model respect for the local fiber community by actively valuing their time and expertise.

We welcome all fiber crafters regardless of race, color, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, socio-economic status, neurodivergence, and/or disability. We aim to create a community that is inclusive, diverse, and accessible by promoting anti-racism, equity, equality, and justice.

Our Vision:

We see Fiber arts as a vital and respected part of Portland art culture; we see the continued tradition of knitting with an increased awareness of knitting in the general public; and we see knitters positively impacting the neighboring community.

A herringbone knit stitch scarf is on the needles, made out of grey yarn.
